The layout is very much like the WW2 German Zeltbahn - the construction is however slightly different (as well as the camouflage pattern!). The French quartershelter is made with the lower left and right corner consisting of separate pieces of cloth (easily seen on the photo - the general direction of the pattern is horizontal, but the lower left is vertical). Plain tan French quartershelters are sometimes overprinted with a splinter pattern and sold as German WW2 Zeltbahns...
